There are two enjoyable routes:

From You’ai Town, following the right bank of the Jiang’an River to Dujiangyan.
From Dujiangyan to Zipingpu Reservoir and back, following the riverbank to Dujiangyan.

From the city center to You’ai Town in Pidou District, then along the Jiang’an River to Dujiangyan

From Dujiangyan, following the mountain road to Zipingpu Reservoir

From Zipingpu Reservoir along the riverbank to Dujiangyan, then proceed through Tangchang Town to the city center
